What People Say About Our Hedge Cutting Service

Definitely recommend highly

Tim and his team have been tidying up our garden and cutting back over-hanging trees etc for the last 8 years.

Last Winter our shrubs were cut back hard, self-planted and dead trees were cleared out and a high hedge was trimmed on a difficult sloping plot. The shrubs have come into leaf this year with a lot more space and in good proportion to each other so the overall view is much more balanced.

Very pleased with Tim and his team who took extra care and cleared away the debris. Would definitely recommend highly.

Extremely knowledgeable, professional

We’re so pleased with the work Tim and his team have done for us, on numerous occasions now, fencing, hedging.

What separates Tim from the other companies is that he is extremely pro active (ordering supplies before the start date) so that work can commence on the date he says he’ll start.

Extremely knowledgeable, professional, hard working, informative and most of all, reliable. I have no doubt we’ll use TRB garden solutions for future projects.

FAQs

What about wildlife protection?

The months of March through to the end of July is the breeding season for birds and as far as hedge cutting is concerned is considered a closed season. Hedge cutting during this season should be avoided.

Can I throw my neighbours hedge cuttings back?

Once branches are cut off they should be offered back to the tree owner. If the owner doesn’t want them then you will be responsible for disposing of the prunings. You cannot simply throw them over the neighbours fence.

What are the best times of year to cut hedges?

Late winter or very early spring is best, to avoid trimming the hedge during its peak growing season. Always try to cut a hedge back after the flowering season. Getting the timing right will ensure that when you do cut the hedge, the shape will remain visible for longer.
