Can we landscape our garden in stages?
Yes of course, let us know what you have in mind and we can separate different elements, pricing them separately.
Do bear in mind it is best to start with work to your boundary fences first and then working from the end of the garden up towards your property.
What is the best type of paving to use?
This is a tough one to answer as there are so many options depending on the period of the property, colour preference, size, texture etc.
Different materials have different characteristics for example, exterior Porcelain is a very dense manufactured material, this makes it easy to keep clean as it doesn’t stain easily or absorb algae. Porcelain generally has a slip resistance on the surface.
Sandstone is a natural stone and benefits from multiple colour choices. It is also a relatively inexpensive choice as it is imported on mass. However it is porous by nature and absorbs dirt and grime, needing cleaning every year or two.
When is the best time to lay a new lawn?
The truth is turf can be laid at any time of year, the best time in our opinion is between early autumn and the middle of spring. However, you can’t lay it when the ground is frosty or very wet, which is why winter is often a challenge.
The UK seasons are never easy to predict so thinking ahead is a must to prepare the ground.
